Verity is the UK charity for women whose lives are affected by Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). We have designed 'In Touch', Verity's newsletter, for the last five years managing the design process from start to finish. Working within a tight budget and limited to two colours only we established a strong, distinct design style for the newsletter. This design style also provided the basis of a redesign for the charity's brand as a whole and we have applied this to other collateral such as information booklets, annual reports, exhibition materials and promotional items.
The design of the newsletter has evolved recently towards more of a magazine feel to reflect the changing nature of the content which now features members' stories of dealing with PCOS, case histories, round-up of the latest research into PCOS from medical experts, and a 'Ask the Experts' Q&A.
